Michael Slubowski, President and CEO

Mike Slubowski, FACHE, FACMPE joined SCL Health System (SCLHS) in January 2011 as president and CEO. Prior to joining SCLHS, he held senior executive management positions for Trinity Health, a multi-state Catholic health care system based in Novi, Mich. He served as President, Health Networks from July 2009 to December 2010, and for the previous four years served as President, Hospital and Health Networks. Slubowski's 35-year career includes leadership positions at Catholic and secular health care systems and hospitals in Michigan and Arizona.

 In addition, Slubowski serves as Chair of the Exempla Healthcare Board of Directors. He has received a multitude of industry awards, most recently the 2010 Distinguished Service Award from the American College of Healthcare Executives.

 Slubowski received his bachelor's and master of business administration degrees from Wayne State University and completed an Advanced Leadership in Healthcare Program with the University of Michigan.
