How the Program Works

Are you looking for a way to travel and still belong to a healthcare system? Join SCL Health and work at our  hospitals in:

  • Grand Junction, Colorado
  • Denver, Colorado
  • Topeka, Kansas
  • Billings, Montana
  • Butte, Montana
  • Miles City, Montana

This is your opportunity to feel like you belong to a family within a system. You will be trained on the same documentation system (EPIC), follow standardized policies and practices, will not have to re-apply for your job, and have the advantages of a traveler.

  • Base Rate – Range from $33 to $42 an hour (depending on assignment)

Become a Travel Nurse


  1. Provide your information to us so that we can reach out to discuss opportunities. If you meet the requirements for the position and are a good fit for the organization, move on to Step 2.
  2. Phone interview with our Director of Talent Share Float Pool. If you are advanced to the next stage in our recruitment process, move on to Step 3.
  3. Receive a job offer to join the SCL Health Travel Registered Nurse Program (we will even provide you with a one-day lift ticket for skiing if you accept the offer on the spot – how cool is that?)
  4. Orientation
  5. Start your first assignment
  6. Become an integral member of our team and contribute to providing world class service to our patient
  7. Finish your assignment, receive accolades for your performance and receive the completion bonus for your hard work
