We are charged to be bold and innovative in order to transform as a System and meet the evolving needs of those whom we serve. With our creative and dedicated employees, we will make our Vision come alive by achieving the goals and objectives defined in our FY 2007-2009 Strategic Plan for Ministry.
Our planning perspective consists of three components:
- The development of this comprehensive Strategic Plan for Ministry that sets the course for Affiliate Hospital and Clinic planning for the next three-year period;
- The development of the respective Affiliate Hospitals' and Clinics' three-year Integrated Strategic Plan, based on the Ministry's comprehensive plan; and
- Annual validation of the three-year plans by Hospitals and Clinics.
The planning process is driven by our Mission and vision and reflective of our Core Values as the entire Health System works out of the context of five strategic goals:
- Mission & People We will promote a culture that strengthens our Mission and Values: makes tangible the presence of God’s healing love, improves the health of the communities we serve, and broadens access for the underserved population to appropriate health care providers.
- Financial Stewardship We will maintain the System’s financial strength through a combination of effective revenue enhancement, cost management, and appropriate care.
- Growth of System We will strengthen our System by achieving growth through innovation, extension of services, and aggregation of hospitals and systems.
- Quality & Service Excellence We will achieve top performance in quality and service.
- Preferred Provider We will develop a strong System by ensuring that our Affiliates are preferred by the public, favored by physicians, recognized in our communities for delivering quality care, and desired by payers in their networks.
