Jacobs wins contracts from hospitals in Denver and France

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has received a contract from Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver and the hospital at Clermont Ferrand in France the company said Tuesday

Jacobs was selected to provide owner's representative and project management services for phase I of the new campus program in downtown Denver for Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the total value of Phase I of the project is $650 million, according to a release.
Jacobs will be supported by Denver-based Technical Project Services who is serving as a major subconsultant, according to a release. The companies will provide planning, design, construction and occupancy phase project management services, according to a release.
Jacobs also received a contract from Cofathec, a subsidiary of Gaz de France, to provide conceptual and detailed engineering studies for a 20MW power station that would supply energy to the New Hospital Estaing that is currently being built at Clermont Ferrand, according to a release.
Terms of the deal, which also includes engineering, procurement and construction management services for a 2 x 400 kVa standby electrical power station, were not disclosed.
Jacobs is currently providing engineering, procurement and construction management services for the New Hospital Estaing, which is scheduled to be complete in 2009.
