As one door closes, another opens
This week a new phase of St. Mary's Century Project begins with construction of our new lobby, cafeteria, and kitchen on the east side of the hospital. This will mean some significant changes for patients and visitors. Beginning on Wednesday, July 9, there will be no vehicle access to Entrance 1. Pedestrian access, however, will remain available through Sunday, July 13.
Starting Monday, July 14, a walkway from the third floor of the parking garage to the hospital's main floor will open. An additional registration area at the garage walkway entrance means patients will be able to go straight from parking, to registration, to their services with no detours.
Look for more information about these changes in a postcard sent this week to every Mesa County household. You can also call our construction hotline at 255-1800 for information updated weekly. "Construction is never easy," says Rob Jenkins, Century Project owner's representative. "But we are working hard to keep your visits as convenient and easy as possible."
