Caring for grandmother and grandchild

In 1905, the Evangelical Lutheran Sanitarium opened in Wheat Ridge, CO to care for victims of "the White Plague," or tuberculosis. When a cure for this epidemic disease was found, the sanitarium saw fewer patients, and in 1962 it was converted into Jefferson County's first and only general hospital: Lutheran Medical Center.
Two days after opening, we had our first baby. Since then, we have had the pleasure of welcoming many, many babies into the world. In fact, over the last 47 years, we are honored to say that we have welcomed generations of babies! And we are proud and grateful that they continue to allow us to care for them.
Did you begin your life at Lutheran Medical Center? Were your children born at Lutheran? And your grandchildren? If so, we are interested in hearing your story! Please contact Betsy Block at 303-425-8154 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
