HRH Hospice will hold Lunch and Learn
November 10, 2009
The Holy Rosary Healthcare hospice team will hold a community lunch and learn on November 20th from 12:00-1:00pm in the Holy Rosary Healthcare board room. This learning experience will explain the difference between hospice and palliative care and how it can help those in need. Feel free to bring your lunch or just come to listen.
November is National Hospice and Palliative Care Month. Holy Rosary Healthcare hospice along with hospices across the country are reaching out to raise awareness about the important care issues for people coping with life-limiting illnesses and end of life decisions. Hospice is more than traditional healthcare. Hospice and palliative care programs provide pain management, symptom control, psychological support, and spiritual care to patients and their families when a cure is not possible.
Jeannette Donnelly, RN, Holy Rosary Healthcare Hospice Clinical Coordinator, said, “As Hospice usage in America continues to grow, we are proud to have a hospice team at Holy Rosary that is professionally trained to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. We offer practical solutions to some of life’s most difficult challenges.” The HRH Hospice department won the 2009 Best of Miles City Award for Home Health Services.
