Building for Tomorrow-Announcing New Clinic and Location
Red Lodge, Montana, February 11, 2010 – As St. Vincent Healthcare’s Mountain View Clinic in Red Lodge celebrates 20 years of committed, quality, compassionate care for its patients and families, today St. Vincent revealed its future plans to build a new, expanded, technologically advanced, conveniently located and patient-centered clinic in Red Lodge. The announcement and reveal took place at Noon at the current St. Vincent Healthcare Mountain View Clinic located at 501 West 20th in Red Lodge.
St. Vincent Healthcare’s Mountain View Clinic physicians, nurses and staff have been serving Red Lodge area patients and families for the last two decades. It is a commitment St. Vincent Healthcare and St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation are proud to continue into the future.
The new and expanded 7600 square foot Mountain View Clinic will still be the “in town” medical clinic for area residents. It will be conveniently located on the edge of Red Lodge along the Highway with a direct path to the future Beartooth Hospital. This will ensure continued easy access for patients and their care.
St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation, as part of its healing ministry to support rural healthcare and families of the Beartooth Front, recognizes the physicians of the Mountain View Clinic must have modern clinical facilities and is philanthropically supporting this initiative.
The new clinic will be a place that is as advanced as it is welcoming. A place that safeguards patient confidentiality and privacy; a place with additional, larger rooms to ensure timely care; a place large enough to support an updated lab and digitalized x-ray system; a place with a dedicated conference room for use of telemedicine to access primary, consultative and specialty health care services regionally; and a place with dedicated exam and procedure rooms for visiting specialists, enhancing the viability of Beartooth Hospital and Health Center and keeping specialty care for patients here at home.
St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation is making progress to fund this healthcare mission which will total 3.46 Million dollars. This bold undertaking can only be accomplished in partnership with philanthropists and medical professionals throughout the region. To date, the foundation has raised $2m in donor support, $400,000 in grants and a commitment of $500k from the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth. This is a meaningful commitment for St. Vincent Healthcare and St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation in the quest to ensure continued access to quality health care for the region.
