St. James Staff Receives Certifications

Alissa Pesanti, RN, has received certification in Gerontological Nursing from the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center (ANCC). To obtain this certification, Pesanti completed a course of study focused on geriatric (older patients) nursing skills and successfully passed the ANCC exam. Pesanti, a registered nurse, has been with St. James Healthcare for 3 years. She holds a Bachelor degree in nursing and has completed numerous additional nursing seminars and courses.
Kelli Bush, a radiologic technologist at St. James Healthcare, recently received MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Bush previously was certified in radiology and CT (Computed Tomography). She also completed the Benefis Healthcare Radiology Technician program in 2005. Bush has been with St. James for 5 years.
Christine Cox, RN, has received certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing from the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center (ANCC). To obtain the certification, Cox completed 30 hours of continuing education, a self-study course, and a specified number of clinical hours to successfully pass the ANCC exam. For the past 3 years, she has worked at St. James as a medical-surgical registered nurse. Cox received her Associate and Bachelor degrees in nursing from Montana Tech of the University of Montana.
