Ski and Snow Board Conditioning Class
October 04, 2010
To get ready for the upcoming skiing and snowboarding season, sign up for the St. James Healthcare Rehab Department pre-season conditioning class!
Offering speed, power, overload and plyometric drills, as well as balance control, agility and strength exercises, the 6-week course will help you perfect power moves, increase endurance for top-to-bottom runs, and improve agility, strength and flexibility that will decrease the possibility of injury.
To get the most benefit from the conditioning class right from the first session, you should first do some fitness training (walking, biking, running, etc.) to start to get yourself in shape.
The course instructor is Sean Ostrowski, a physical therapist at St. James Healthcare, specializing in sports and orthopedic physical therapy. He is also an avid snowboarder, trail runner and mountain biker.
