John Moore Heads Surgical Services

t. James Healthcare recently announced that John Moore has been promoted to Director of Surgical Services. In his new position, Moore will be responsible for the management of the Surgery Department, Pre-admission testing, the Post-anesthesia Care Unit, Endoscopy, the Pain Clinic and Sterile Processing.

With his wealth of nursing experience in all areas within the hospital and his expertise in surgical services, he will serve our organization, our surgeons, and most importantly, our patients, very well,” said Shannon Holland, St. James’ Vice President of Patient Care.
Moore most recently served as Surgical Services Supervisor for St. James and was responsible for supervising the Ambulatory Surgery areas. He also served as a registered nurse in St. James’ Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, and the Medical/Surgical Department. Moore has been with St. James Healthcare for 13 years.
Born and raised in Butte, Moore graduated from Carroll College in 1997 with a Bachelor degree in Nursing. He also has received certifications in the Performance Excellence Advanced Training Program, American Organization of Nurse Executives and the Studer Group’s program, “Taking You and Your Organization to the Next Level.”
John and his wife, Kathy, have three adult children and 3 granddaughters.
