HRHs Webb Retiring, Lewis Named Interim

Ron Webb, Chief Executive Officer at Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City, Mont., announced his retirement effective Friday, Sept. 9. After serving as CEO for the past two years, he is returning to the Midwest where he and his wife look forward to spending more time with their families in Arkansas and Nebraska.
Monty Lesh, Chair of the Holy Rosary Healthcare Board of Directors, cited Webb's commitment to improving quality, patient safety and operations during his tenure. Lesh highlighted several significant accomplishments under Webb's leadership:
- Recruitment of five physicians and expansion of the Holy Rosary outpatient clinic and overall hospital medical staff;
- Implementation of a hospitalist program to provide specialized care to hospitalized patients;
Adoption of new critical access hospital reimbursement model, improving the hospital's financial performance;
- Improved quality performance and patient satisfaction;
- And oversaw completion of two major surveys resulting in continued accreditation from The Joint Commission and Medicare.
Paul Lewis, currently Vice President of Finance and Support Services at Holy Rosary, will serve as interim CEO during the search for a new CEO. Lewis has 18 years health care experience including serving as CEO for the hospital in Ritzville, Wash., and COO for the hospital in Kellogg, Idaho. An alumni of Brigham Young University, Lewis grew up in Jefferson City, Mont. He and his wife, Kim, have five children.
