OB/GYN NOW SEEING PATIENTS AT FMC IN BAKER
December 12, 2011
Fallon Medical Complex (FMC) is pleased to welcome Jeff Williams, MD, OB/GYN, to its expanding women's health clinic in Baker.
Dr. Williams, a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, has been with Holy Rosary Healthcare since May 2010 and has seen a number of expectant parents from the Baker area in Miles City. The new outpatient clinic at FMC will allow women from Fallon, Carter, and Wibaux counties who are expecting children to receive prenatal and post-natal care in Baker. It will also allow all women to receive OB/GYN specialty services, such as consultations regarding fertility and endometriosis. In all, Dr. Williams is planning to offer a complete scope of obstetrical care at FMC.
Fallon Medical Complex has long offered women's health services through its four full-time providers in the Community Clinic. Those outpatient women's services have been complimented by fully digital diagnostic imaging studies (including digital mammography which has been in place since 2008), a full range of lab tests, and physical therapy.
"As our community's health care provider, we are pleased to have worked out an agreement with Holy Rosary to bring Dr. Williams to Baker. This will allow our local women to receive specialty care closer to home," commented David Espeland, FMC's CEO. "Dr. Williams plans to work closely with our local staff during his office visits and to arrange for routine diagnostic, lab, and therapy work to be done in Baker, which will benefit both the facility and the community."
Dr. Williams received his doctorate degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia. He performed his residency training in St. Louis, Missouri at St. Johns Mercy Medical Center. He has practiced in Washington for the last four years and is licensed to practice in California, Washington, and Montana.
Dr. Williams will be in Baker on January 11, 2012 and plans to return monthly thereafter; scheduling may be expanded based on demand. Appointments are available now by calling 233-2500 or 1-800-843-3820.
