Holy Rosary Healthcare is offering a one-week healthy living summer camp for kids 8-12 years old. JOLT Summer Camp will include practical and healthy cooking lessons, physical activity, games, and education in a hands-on environment. Lunch, prepared by the students using healthy food provided by Holy Rosary Healthcare, is included in the program. JOLT Summer Camp will be held July 23-27, 9am-noon, at Sacred Heart School in Miles City.

The curriculum is based on a national program that has been successful at educating adolescents on healthy living. The program is based on Holy Rosary's teen JOLT program to help youth make healthy choices today and into the future. Up to 20 participants will be involved in this summer class. The HRH JOLT Summer Camp is facilitated by a medical team including Travis Walker, MD, Pediatrician; Liane Vadheim, RD; Carla McPherson, BSHP; Brooke Frieboes, DPT; Amy Tooke, ATC; and Tara Andrews from MSU Custer County Extension. Andrews will be leading the cooking portion which is similar to the very popular Chef's School offered annually by the Extension Service.

The enrollment fee for the week-long program is $75 for one or $120 for two friends or family members. Scholarships are available. For more information or to enroll, call 233.4067 or visit www.holyrosaryhealthcare.org/JOLT.
