Exempla Lutheran Rocks Pink Gloves for Breast Cancer Awareness
October 17, 2012
WHEAT RIDGE, CO (Oct. 17, 2012) – The annual Pink Glove Dance video competition is on, and Exempla Lutheran Medical Center has a video entry. The hospital is vying for a $10,000 prize that would be donated to a community breast cancer charity. Voting has begun and goes through Nov. 1 on the Pink Glove Dance site.
More than 250 Lutheran associates and community partners participated in making this “very pink” video. The song used in the video is “This One’s for the Girls,” by Martina McBride, who gave permission for the song to be used specifically for the Pink Glove Dance.
“We’re thrilled at the response and engagement from our associates and partners surrounding this video,” said Justin Fales, marketing manager. “It showcases our hospital’s commitment to our community and our patients in a fun and entertaining way. We encourage everyone to watch and support this cause by voting!”
The Pink Glove Dance was launched in 2009 to support breast cancer awareness and prevention. The competition is sponsored by Medline Industries, manufacturer of the pink gloves.
Viewers can vote on their favorite video – voting requires a Facebook account and can only be done on the Pink Glove Dance website.
