HOSPICE DOVES FLYING IN MILES CITY
November 19, 2012
Holy Rosary Healthcare Hospice Care is a beloved program, particularly to families who have utilized and benefitted from the compassionate care delivered by the Hospice care team. Each year, Hospice gives individuals, families and the community an opportunity remember and honor their loved ones and special people in their lives in a variety of ways.
This year, as part of Hospice Month nationally, people have an opportunity locally to buy a dove in November and December at participating businesses for just $1. Businesses selling the Hospice doves include: Miles City Star, Murdoch’s, Montana Rib & Chop House, Discovery Pond, Aarons, Gallagher’s, First Interstate Bank, US Bank, Scott’s Glass, Bloedorn Lumber, Rolling Rubber Tire Factory, Miles City Saddlery, and Blossoms Gift Shop (at HRH). These paper doves will be displayed at each respective business through the end of the year.
The second way is to sponsor a large dove that will fly in the Holy Rosary Healthcare lobby through the end of Dcember. So far, dove sponsors in the HRH lobby are: Montana Rib & Chop House, Synaptic Healthcare, Steadman’s Ace Hardware, A&A Electric, Hometown Lighting, Murdoch’s, Aarons, First Interstate Bank, Mac’s Frontierland, Traci Schell Insurance, and US Bank. Anyone gifting $100 or more to Hospice between now and the end of the year will have a dove flying in the lobby in their honor.
HRH Hospice takes a holistic approach to care for people at the end-of-life who have decided to forego further treatment that may heal or cure their disease or illness. These services are provided regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. Therefore, HRH Hospice relies heavily on grants, memorial gifts and community support to fund care.
