Holy Rosary Healthcare recently was awarded the prestigious international Summit Award at the Kathryn Larsen, RN, representing Holy Rosary accepted the award in recognition of Service Excellence Advisor of the Year. HRH also received Pinnacle Achiever recognition in the following categories: Inspiring Administrator, awarded to Holy Rosary’s Chief Nursing Officer Lisa Sanford, and Exceptional Employee, presented to Holy Rosary’s Dixie Rieger. The awards were presented at the 13th annual Healthcare Service Excellence Conference in New Orleans, LA, January 21-23, 2013.

The Service Excellence Advisor of the Year award recognized Holy Rosary Healthcare’s Kathryn Larsen, RN, as being a team leader and a role model who encourages and supports others to improve. Larsen is one of 60 associates, who have been trained as a Service Excellence Ambassador at HRH.

We are honored that Kathryn and Holy Rosary have received this award.”

Holy Rosary Healthcare also received national recognition in 2012 at the same conference for the service excellence leadership and training by HRH associates Dixie Rieger, Sheri Conley, Agnes Price, and Lorilee Becker.

The Service Excellence Initiative at HRH has been in place for three years with the goal of improving patient satisfaction and increasing Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores. HCAHPS scores are publicly reported perception of care scores. HRH has had a 27% overall increase in their HCAHPS scores in the last year and have been recognized by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Healthcare System for service and quality in healthcare improvement.

The Healthcare Service Excellence Conference is dedicated to delivering evidence based solutions to help hospitals, senior facilities, and clinics to improve the patient service. Pinnacle Achievers are international finalists who qualify for the prestigious Summit Award that celebrates exceptional customer service achievements in healthcare.
