St. James Named Nursing Education Provider
April 16, 2013
St. James Healthcare announced the Montana Nurses Association has granted St. James Healthcare the designation of Approved Provider of Continuing Nursing Education for another three years through March 2016.
With this designation, St. James has the authority to plan, implement and evaluate its continuing education programs for nursing professionals throughout the community. “These programs are vital not only to our nursing staff at St. James but also to all nurses throughout the area,” said Shannon Holland, Vice President of Patient Care Services at St. James. “The programs allow nurses to enhance their knowledge and skills while helping them meet their bi-annual licensure requirements with the Montana Board of Nursing,” she said.
Since originally receiving this designation in 2010, St James Healthcare has held live continuing education events for approximately 1,000 registered nurses and other health care professionals.
