HRH Foundation Offering Community Grant Funding in 10-County Area

July 15, 2013

Holy Rosary Healthcare Foundation recently announced the availability of grant funding to support health-enhancing, community-based programs in the 10-county region.  Qualified projects are to be championed by worthy organizations serving Carter, Custer, Dawson, Fallon, Garfield, McCone, Powder River, Prairie, Rosebud, and/or Treasure counties in eastern Montana.

“Our board is pleased to extend the Holy Rosary Healthcare Foundation mission by investing in projects that enhance the health of the people and communities served,” commented HRH Foundation Executive Director Jackie Muri, CFRE, CGPA, MSL.  “We’ve always had a proactive approach of leading our own health-enhancing projects.  This new community grant program invites community-based organizations and groups to bring their ideas forward and receive needed financial grant support to advance their work in making a difference to local people and communities.”

Grants, up to $2,500, will be awarded quarterly with applications due on the first day of March, June, September, and December.  The grants are funded through the Holy Rosary Healthcare Foundation from donors’ gifts designated for community-based, health-enhancing projects.

Muri continued, ““This new community grant program brings together donors who want to impact local projects with groups that have plans to make a difference.  Our role in the Foundation is to help facilitate that process and make it easy for both donors and groups to make a meaningful difference locally.”

Holy Rosary Healthcare Foundation’s community outreach is mission- and ministry-driven and is targeted at causes that improve the health of local communities and people.
