PRMC Announces Provider Changes
July 18, 2013
Patients receiving care at Powder River Medical Clinic will begin seeing new providers at the clinic beginning August 12. The change is a result of an agreement that is ending between Holy Rosary Healthcare, the owner and manager of PRMC, and Ashland Community Health Center.
"Holy Rosary has a vested interest in Powder River County as we operate the clinic, provide the medical directorship at the Manor, and care for many patients from this area at our facility in Miles City," said Paul Lewis, CEO, Holy Rosary Healthcare.
Darik Croft, MBA, Powder River Medical Clinic Director, thanked the Ashland Community Health Center and providers Kim Studiner, PA, and Bob Denning, PA, for their care since the beginning of the year. "Kim and Bob have done an excellent job and have been very committed to providing high-quality care locally. We truly appreciate our working relationship with Ashland Community Health Center."
Studiner and Denning will continue seeing patients at Powder River Medical Clinic through August 9. Beginning August 12, providers from Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City will see patients at PRMC two days each week. Additionally, Jeff Hostetter, MD, will see patients one Friday each month and continue providing the medical directorship for the clinic and the Powder River Manor.
Current patient volumes support a clinic two days per week. As support for the local clinic and volumes increase, Holy Rosary Healthcare is certainly prepared to increase the number of days the clinic is open, based on need. Patients may continue scheduling appointments at the clinic by calling 436-2651. In case of emergency, residents will continue calling 911.
