Halloween kicks off with the Festival of Ghouls, which invites children to trick or treat through HRH Departments and residents of HRH Extended Care from 3-5pm. Children are encouraged to start their adventure in the Clinic and pick up map as to not miss a stop through HRH.
Trunk or Treat invites local businesses, churches, and organizations to decorate vehicle trunks in creative ways while handing out goodies to all the children in attendance. Registration forms for interested organizations are available at the HRH Front Desk and the Miles City Chamber of Commerce. There is no fee for registered vehicles. Deadline for interested businesses and community organizations is 5:00 pm, Tuesday, October 29, 2013. All registered vehicles will be entered to win in the Trunk Decoration Contest.
Beginning this Saturday, October 26th at 10am, Fabrications will be hosting a silent auction of mini-quilts created and donated by local quilters in the HRH Main Lobby. A raffle is also being held of a beautiful quilt made and generously donated by Jonette Potts. The raffle quilt will be displayed in HRH at Blossoms beginning Monday, October 28 and with tickets available at Fabrications and Blossoms. All proceeds will benefit HRH Foundation SmileSavers Project, which provides dental services to children in our area. Announcement of the raffle winner and silent auction bidding will close at 5:30pm, October 31st in the HRH Main Lobby.
Jules Photography and Gallery will be taking free pictures in the HRH Main Lobby from 3:30-6:30pm. Pictures taken will be shared on the Jules Photography and Gallery Facebook page.
These events offer a safe & well lit place for children to trick or treat. In case of inclement weather, Trunk or Treat participants will be moved into the HRH Main Lobby.
