Holy Rosary Healthcare Foundation Receives Rural Community Grant
February 17, 2014
Northwest Farm Credit Services is proud to award a $3,000 Northwest FCS/CoBank Rural Community Grant award to Holy Rosary Healthcare Foundation. The grant will be used to support emergency care in eastern Montana, specifically the eEmergency services network that will be fully operational at Holy Rosary Healthcare and other eastern Montana healthcare facilities by summer 2014.
"We value Northwest Farm Credit Service's commitment to invest in our local community," commented Jackie Muri, CFRE, CGPA, MSL, Holy Rosary Healthcare Foundation Executive Director. "We are particularly appreciative of their most recent gift to our Foundation to implement an eEmergency network for the region, connecting the Holy Rosary ER with smaller rural hospitals and ERs in eastern Montana. Additionally, facilities in the network can tap specialists in large tertiary hospitals with extensive expertise. This service enhances patient care in Miles City and in communities across the area, and we're proud to be part of that."
"This is the second time Northwest Farm Credit Services has supported our Foundation's charity work in recent years," added Muri. "This type of generosity and investment locally is exactly how we're able to advance life-changing projects in our community. We're very grateful."
