HRH to welcome Pediatrician Harris

Holy Rosary Healthcare (HRH) is pleased to announce that John Harris, M.D. has signed on as pediatrician. Board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Harris brings 22 years of experience and has served as the sole proprietor of Progressive Pediatrics – providing both inpatient and outpatient care – in Clarkston, WA, since 2008.
"With a strong background in acute care, rural medicine and pediatric behavioral health, Dr. Harris will be an instrumental addition to the Holy Rosary team," shared Lisa Cadwell, MD.
Harris received a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. He continued on to Spokane, WA, where he received certifications as a medical technologist and registered microbiologist at Sacred Heart Medical Center. Harris attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, and later performed his residency as part of the Phoenix Hospital Affiliated Pediatrics program, in Phoenix, AZ.
Since 1991, Dr. Harris has been an active staff member at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho. Additionally, he serves as a consulting staff member for Tri-State Memorial Hospital in Clarkston, and is a physician member for Child Protective Services of Nez Perce County, ID.
An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Harris enjoys fishing and bird hunting. Originally from western MT, he and his wife, Jo, are excited to be returning to the area. They have three grown children and a most beloved grandchild.
