In October 2007, Saint John’s Health Center proudly celebrated 65 years of providing competent, compassionate care to the community. In 2004, we opened The Chan Soon-Shiong Center for Life Sciences, featuring state-of-the-art private patient rooms designed for healing. Saint John’s is currently in the process of building the Howard Keck Diagnostic and Treatment Center, scheduled for completion in 2009.

- The Hip and Pelvis Institute offers an anatomic-based approach to hip and pelvis orthopedic problems.
- The Neuro-Endocrine Tumor Center treats patients with pituitary, brain and skull-based tumors.
- The Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgical Center provides comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal cancers.
- The Dirks/Dougherty Prostate Center offers patients a minimally invasive surgical approach through robotic-assisted techniques for prostate-specific issues.
- The John Wayne Cancer Institute is world renowned for advances in melanoma, breast, colon, liver and prostate cancer as well as cancer immunotherapy.
- The Spine Institute utilizes state-of-the-art technology for diagnosis and treatment of a multitude of spinal and peripheral nerve disorders.
Saint John’s Health Center has significantly expanded its Emergency Department to care more efficiently and effectively for our patients. In addition, the department’s Fast Track service directs patients arriving at the ER with less severe symptoms to a dedicated area where they can be treated and discharged without waiting for more complex or serious patients to be seen.
